{"id":8,"date":"2014-09-30T11:59:13","date_gmt":"2014-09-30T11:59:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jolas.ro\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2017-01-18T22:34:57","modified_gmt":"2017-01-18T22:34:57","slug":"the-centre-for-studies-and-legal-and-socio-administrative-research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jolas.ro\/?page_id=8","title":{"rendered":"The Centre for Studies and Legal and Socio-Administrative Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Studies and Legal and Socio-Administrative Research (CSCJSA) within the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Petroleum-Gas University Ploie\u015fti was established by University Senate Decision no. 810 dated April 4<sup>th<\/sup> 2013. The centre represents a research structure, without legal personality, whose purpose is to conduct studies and research in law, social sciences, European issues and public administration. Also, among the objectives of the Centre there are: the organization of national and international scientific events, the collaboration with similar entities, as well as the annual awarding of the valedictorian from the Public Administration specialization. The Scientific Council of the Centre includes notable persons from the field of law and social sciences, from Romania and abroad, theorists and practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, the Centre awarded the 2013 Valedictorian of the Public Administration specialization. The awarding was performed \u200b\u200bby Professor Verginia Vedina\u015f, PhD, member of the Scientific Council of the Centre for Studies and Legal and Social Administration Research. Also in 2013, together with the Faculty of Business and Administration from the University of Bucharest and the Romanian Association of Law and European Affairs, the International Conference \u201cPublic Administration. Current Trends.\u201d was held in Bucharest.<\/p>\n<p>The centre has signed four agreements of scientific cooperation with the Business and Administration Faculty of the University of Bucharest, with the Romanian Association of Law and European Affairs, with the Society for Legal and Administrative Sciences in Bucharest, and the Institute of Administrative Sciences \u201cPaul Negulescu\u201d from Sibiu.<\/p>\n<p>On February 25<sup>th<\/sup> 2014, the Centre organized the book launch \u201cThe role of national parliaments in the development and implementation of European law\u201d at the \u201cNicolae Iorga\u201d Library in Ploie\u015fti. On April 2<sup>nd<\/sup> 2014, the Centre organized in Ploie\u015fti, together with its partners, the International Conference \u201cPublic Administration in Europe of the 28. The Legal and Managerial Dimension\u201d; on June 13<sup>th<\/sup> 2014 it organized the National Conference with international participation on \u201cCurrent Trends in Public Law. A Legal and Philosophical approach.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On November 24<sup>th<\/sup>, The Center for Studies and Legal and Socio-Administrative Research and signed a scientific collaboration agreement with the Institute of Administrative Sciences of Republic of Moldova, and on December 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2014 organized the International Conference \u201cThe Constitution and the Contemporary Society\u201d which brought together over 50 experts from Romania and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>On June 12<sup>th<\/sup> 2015, the Centre for Studies and Legal and Socio-Administrative Research organized the International Conference &#8220;Current issues of administration and justice&#8221;, a scientific event during which 100 papers were presented.<\/p>\n<p>On June 10<sup>th<\/sup> 2016, The Centre for Studies and Legal and Socio-Administrative Research organized the International Conference &#8220;Europe adrift. From unity in diversity to diversity without unity.
